What is this body butter used for?
Our body butter is designed to deeply moisturize, nourish, and soothe dry or sensitive skin. It helps improve skin texture, promote elasticity, and lock in hydration for long-lasting softness.
What skin types is this suitable for?

Can I use this on my face?
While the ingredients are natural and skin-loving, this body butter is richer than a typical facial moisturizer. If you have dry or mature skin, you may use it sparingly on your face. Do a patch test by placing a very small amount on the most sensitive area of your face. Leave for 24 hrs. If no irritation
occurs, then use over your face. Most of our customers use it as a face moisturizer.
Is this body butter greasy?
Our formula made up of pure butters and essential oils that are rich and deeply moisturizing, so it may feel slightly oily upon application. All the ingredients in our body butter are natural and generally safe. Yes, lavender and frankincense can generally be safe and beneficial in skincare for pregnant mothers — this can be used to massage the belly, hips, or thighs to help prevent stretch marks and soothe the skin when used correctly and in moderation. However, there are some important considerations about lavender and frankincense.
Potential Benefits
Lavender
- Soothing and calming: Helps reduce stress, which is beneficial during pregnancy.
- Anti-inflammatory and antibacterial: Can help with acne or sensitive skin.
Frankincense
- Skin healing and toning: Promotes regeneration and elasticity.
- Anti-inflammatory: Can help with stretch marks or irritated skin.
Safety Considerations
In the first trimester, it's often recommended to limit or avoid most essential oils unless advised by a healthcare provider. In the second and third trimesters, lavender and frankincense are generally considered safer in skincare.
Allergies or Sensitivity
Before using, do a patch test. Pregnancy can make skin more sensitive. Apply a small amount on your most sensitive part of your skin and wait for 24 hrs to see if there is any adverse effect before continued use.
For Lactating Mothers
Patch test first: Hormonal shifts during lactation can make your skin more sensitive. Avoid breast area. If your baby shows signs of skin irritation, fussiness, or changes in feeding behavior, discontinue use and observe for changes.
Is it safe to use on babies’ skin?
Our body butter is 100% natural and safe, however lavender and frankincense are not recommended for babies under 6 months because the skin is thin, sensitive, and more permeable, which means ingredients get absorbed more easily.
General Safety Guidance
• Age matters: Babies younger than about 6 months are more vulnerable. Many sources advise avoiding essential oils in baby skincare (especially leave-on formulations) for babies under 6 months.
• Patch test first: Always try on a tiny, less visible area of skin, wait 24–48 hours to check for adverse reaction.
• Avoid sensitive areas: Near eyes, face, genitals — extra caution.
• Avoid ingestion / keep out of reach: Essential oils are potent and can be toxic if swallowed.
Does it contain any preservatives or synthetic ingredients?
No. Our body butter is 100% natural and free from synthetic preservatives, parabens, sulfates, and artificial fragrances.
How should I store it?
Keep your body butter away from direct sunlight. During warmer months, it may soften or melt—if so, place it in the refrigerator for a few minutes to firm it back up.
How long does it last (shelf life)?
When stored properly, this body butter has a shelf life of approximately 6 to 12 months. Always use clean hands or a spatula to avoid introducing bacteria.
Does it help with eczema or psoriasis?
While not a medical treatment, many customers with eczema, psoriasis, or dry skin have reported relief from symptoms thanks to the nourishing and anti-inflammatory properties of the ingredients. As always, consult a dermatologist for chronic skin conditions.
Can it be used as a hair product?
Some users love using this body butter on dry ends or as a scalp treatment due to the rich oils, especially castor, coconut, and jojoba. However, it’s primarily formulated for skin use.
